The RF series is WAYYY quieter than a Schuberth, and wayyy safer. The shield system is hyped up because of how well improved it is over the previous one, which is held in high regard. I would be very weary of the s1, a 700 dollar helmet that does no the Snell approval? And yes, I do understand and have done extensive research on the safety ratings. Yeah, I do like the lid a lot, but I think we'll have to agree to differ on the Snell test. I am one of those that prefers my helmet to crumple after the first hard hit, rather than have my brain take...
